So Me and My grandpa had a cow moose draw in 5-15. We had planned on taking all four days to get it done, but by 7:30 on the first morning we were done. We came to a Y in the road and my grandpa dropped me off to walk in. He then drove down the other road. I hadn't been walking for more than 10 minutes before I heard a shot a short distance away. So i turned back and found him with a last years calf moose down. I was kind of hoping to shoot my first moose but my grandpa is getting older and his health is deteriorating. This will most likely be one of the last moose he shoots. He gave us kids all of his rifles and had to borrow one back to come :) That makes me pretty happy knowing I was a part of this kill. Hopefully next year I can get on my first moose.

My dad, and both grandpas.

As we were gutting the moose this guy drove by training his sled dogs, it was pretty cool. He had 2 teams of 12 and went by at least 4 times while we were getting her out.

I tried to do the same with my grandfather and my wife on a shared draw few years back. Never got to see a bull. So you done well, be happy with those memories. As for your first moose, it will happen just keep at it.
Congrats.
