This is my newest buy. I just picked it up after my elk hunt n the kootneys and i have only used it for a few nights out in the bush. Let me tell you. its the cats ass. If i put a couple good chucks of wood in it and damper it down it will burn and keep you warm for 5 hours or so. I was getting up and putting another block on every 5 hours. The best part about it is i paid 75 bucks cash.

Good job Trigger...it's nice to see folks make something for themselves rather than simply shelling out cash.

Put a scope and trigger on it and go cruise around Whistler in a couple months. That would raise a few eyebrows.

I've got one very similar only it is 2 propane bottles welded togther, but basically the same thing, works great, though I hardly ever use it.. it sits in my back yard , sometimes I take it fishing, .. but they are great little stoves!!

What a great idea. I want one. My neighbor is the best welder I've ever known and I have two empty propane tanks. I'll see if he can turn the tanks into a BBQ/smoker for my backyard.:)
