well after hunting hard for over a week in the high alpine and snow i was on my way home with my tail between my legs and this guy was standing just off the road well cant pass this up i said to my self this was too easy so bang, down in the truck on my way home in less than an hour. not much of a story. That morning while i was up in my spot i seen 8 sheep and one real big ram i mean real big so after elk season thats going to be my next trip a big horn sheep. cant wait till next year.

Way to go Bozz.......Persistance pays off and some times the hunting Gods cut you a break....

Now you just have to smack a whitey and you should be a happy hunter....

iam trying to get the wife to get a mule tag so i can take her out. But she is not a hiker. i have a spot thats flat and the big bucks are just starting to come into so if i push a little more i might be able to get her a mule deer

Now that's the way to do it! I've done it that way twice in the past. Parked the truck on a landing waiting for shooting light. Here comes a rutty buck at sixty feet on the hillside. Bang, flop back the truck to the bank, slide it on and home in less than 3/4 of an hour.
