they are grouped with the does but are not that aggressive as far as I have seen. they are still very aware of their enviroment and us. the bucks in the fields are starting to spar, but are pretty relaxed. big guys are supported by at least three smaller bucks but are not chaseing them off. best of luck, the ground in the mid elevation is very noisy and icy.

Flew around Wentworth today. Most of the lakes up there are frozen, with small open areas, but a little lower around Isobel, Noble have ice forming around the shore.

Heffleys got hogs and moss backs with heavy tine that's symetrical and fine if you get lucky in some ridges, bluffs, and hilly rock outcroppings with timber, beauty area with sightings of the biggest bucks around the valley but usually at night crossing the Sun Peaks road down low by the shooting range and dump. I saw one just above the last house in a row coming up from the Yellowhead hwy on the ski hill road, too close to a building to shoot, was a true 180 rack straight out and up to the sky and tines a foot long, it was a once in a life time for many a hunter but was smart too. Stayed close to building.
You can't go wrong in that productive area.
Jel - Heffley is HOT. Hot to trot -- man that's muley country world cla$$ with honest to goodness bucks

Without a doubt you should have a whitetail tag. Try up the Hyas for whitetails..... I have even seen them up the Jamison
