I saw some other posts up about deer being shot with a 45-70 so I thought i would post up. Shot this one on Oct 28th at about 75 yards with my marlin 45-70. The one 325gr Hornady Leverevolution folded him. I was very impressed with the marlin and amazed at the very little meat loss with this calibre. Also, really fun to shoot.
