Filmed this stand off a couple weeks ago from my treestand. Never went any further, but I was hoping to get some carnage. Oh well.

Well looks like your lil friend gets to live another day, could be worse or resident could be a wood pecker instead of that lil guy.

You probably saved that squirrels hide, by being there. Owl was probably wondering "why does part of that tree keep moving?"

haha He actualy had hit that squirel out of ther canopy a few minutes before that video. It literaly had about a 40ft fall and only missed me by a few feet. The owl was following it down, saw me and swooped back up into the tree. Thats when the squirel ran up the tree to its burrow and they stared at each other all night. Pretty cool.

That would have been cool to see. I'm gonna try sitting in a tree stand sometime. I always get restless though and want to walk:)

That is a very nice photo you took. Pretty cool story that you can tell for the rest of your days too!
