Thanks for that Jimr, interesting to watch them constantly jockying for position. I wonder how it is that they know they are where they want to be, or are they always searching for something better????
I saw a story about an old mill pond, someplace in the U.S.A., and they put a great sheet of glass in the basement wall. Tourists would come and sit and eat and watch - just like a hockey game. Great idea imo.

Note: we are having network problems to the Chehalis site. The live underwater camera may not be working at all times - Sept 24, 2009

From their website

Sorry Jimr, you may have misread me. I was referring to the positions they are holding, or trying to hold in the video. Someone always seems to be trying to steal or push someone else out of the spot they have settled in at.
I am assuming that the constant shifting of the stream current puts a demand on the fish to constantly change their resting place in search of a better and less demanding of energy spot. Or is this some sort of interaction between each other that only they know about. Are those Cuts the egg thieves that I think they are?

Yea iam sure the cuts are , as you can often catch them now on a single or even double egg riggin, in the rivers.....:P so they must like them....
