Was a slow ducks shoot this morning only bagging a pair of mallards and most flying high, so I pulled the pin early and went to walk some pheasants. Wish it was some great story, but it wasn't, I spotted a pair of birds and jumped them to get my first BC pheasants and my first double on pheasants!
I call my buddy Rick to share the news and found out just how lucky I was. He's been chasing pheasants hard for over 20 years and told me he's only ever had chances at doubles 6 times, call it beginners luck as this is my first year chasing roosters...
