looking for article - pvc bow build

Hey folk

I'm looking for an article on how to build a pvc bow for kids. I saw it in a magazine within the last 2 years but I can't remember the magazine/edition and need your help finding it or the details of construction. I may remember enough to muddle through but I'm interested in the measurements.

The materials were:
white pvc irrigation pipe (1/2-1"?) - for the bow. Length?
foam pipe isulation - for the grip
plastic cable clamps - for the arrow rest
zap straps - to hold the grip and rest in place
sash/blind cord - for the bowstring

If I recall correctly this would produce up to a 30lb bow.

So can anyone please help? Other thoughts/ideas are always welcome.

i just googled "pvc bow" because it made me wonder if they would work,, and came up with lots of neat ways to build a bow.
