Me an Roebuck were out lookin fer to connect on my cow draw this past Fri. He was helpin me to find one cause I was havin a pretty tough time findin something to put into the crosshairs, in fact I was just whinin' and complainin' bout me bein a curse to anyone I hunted with. Seems like everyone I talked to seen critters till I was along side of em, then there wasn't anything to be found. I was mid sentance in my pitty party when Roebuck throwd out the anchor on his truck and hollered "MOOSE". I bailed outa the shotgun seat and clipped up, got my sights set on the cow an he said "I'll take the calf", then BOOM, the calf dropped instantly, I got my self collected (wasnt expectin his shot right then, it rattled me a piece momentarily) aimed er up real quick and pulled on the cow. She collapsed on the spot, aint neither one of em took a step. We drug em out to the road (only between 80-100 yards) with his quad and gutted em. Both were spine shots. Back at the Roebuck homestead, we hung em up and skinned em. Neither one of them are all that big, but will give plenty of good eatin fer this winter. Big thanks goes out to Roebuck fer puttin up with me an my crap this season, we were out a fair amount and he helped me a ton to bag my first big game kill.

Good job on the pair, good eats forsure

My brother and I took a calf his am, congrats on the freezer full.

Congrats on the moose! I have a cow moose draw starting November 1st and Ill be out there everyday that I can. :)

I was impressed in the way you took your moose,very calm for your first big critter, and a very nice clean kill and easy retrieval, and a great job on the butchery. well done buddy
