Well, how is the spike-fork moose season shaping up? I haven't had the time to even go out.

The hunting regulations in region 4 are designed for hunter failure not hunter success.

Well I have my Elk and Whitetail tag filled so far....so I guess that is failure huh.

It is a much deeper issue.

Someone told me that a cousin of a friend of a friend of a guy he works with took one up by Sparwood.

Six on the left hand side and no more than two on the right if it`s facing you, otherwise it`s two on the side facing your ex-wife and eleven on the side you can`t see, except when the moon is full and that is only good for even numbered days in a leap year.
Seems pretty clear to me.Any other questions?

today ... I realized I shouldn't have been so .. stupid,,,,, went out muley hunting what do we see?? a nice spike moose... never see a spike moose... until it's open and you didn't buy a tag..so another hunter came along a few minutes later and he now has a spike moose on his meat pole... and the muleys were all 2's and 3s.... but what a gorgeous day to be up high in the rockies!!!!

My moms neighbor in Kimberley had apparently brought in 3 spike fork moose???? (his, a friends and his kids) All in the same area? I cant say they are all spike forks (i havent seen them), but hes got the meet hanging there. I thought spike forks were a bit of a rarity, apparently not for this guy?

I. hunted the Flathead Valley from 83 to 96 and we saw at least 6 spikes and about the same for 2pts. I have not seen that many since and I don't think that I have seen a spike since I stopped hunting the Flathead
