If you are asking for specific information, why not take the time to construct a sentence worthy of a response?

By across, do you mean hiking ?
Was in the area, some drainages that connect with the Turnagain , and they were running full flood all season, a very wet year. So I bet the water was high in it also.

RBF, take a lude

tough crossing this year, couple buddy's just got back and he almost lost is quad in the river, did end up losing his rifle as it fell off his quad during the ordeal and floated away!!! believe it or not they got it back as it ended up downstream and some workers found it and heard the story!!! wow...

it's crossable but be careful as it's high and fast.

This seems to be a suitable response to the original question, rather than be scolded for improper sentence structure. We are a group of people with varied communication and computer skills as well as ages and ethnic backgrounds. I do not think it serves any of us well to dwell on petty issues such as grammar mistakes when we have relevant and sometimes important issues or questions.

The Turnagain is a lengthy river system. I suspect that you were making reference to the upper end that is accessed via the Boulder City road. A fine place to explore and hunt.

I refuse to comment on some of the often overlooked and very productive Stone's sheep honey holes in that area.
