View Full Version : any luck in region 6 open bull yet?

just wondering if anyone has had any luck in 6 yet? I am heading that way this weekend. We can hunt imis and calves untill we get there hopeing for the best. good luck to all those heading out

Hey Trigger - have you been sticking to 6-9? I'm in Telkwa... Haven't had much luck, seeing lots of fresh sign, but can't pull them out of the thick cover. Any advice for a rookie:)

yeah we got one in 6-9 and the other two in 6-4. all have come into a call. aways away from the roads and they are coming in very slow. well not the one but the other two were very slow to show up. patience and make your self sound like a love sick cow. the longer and more bellowing the call is what seems to be working.

we got two bulls, 56 and 55 inch. that was on sept 20th and they were ruttin hard. only saw 5 bulls in all

Pictures please! Ha, got twin bulls on my property right now will post a pic and get a few other estimates from you guys on what they would score. I figure the bigger of the two is about 50 inches, which is pretty big for a bull in the lower regions!
