Lucky color phase bear

A friend and I went for a combination fishing / hunting trip today near pennask lake reg 3. Caught one nice trout and took a video of this black bear from 5o yards.

wow, cool vid. me thinks that bear was eatin an un-cropped fall crop if ya know what I mean. I've never had one so close be so calm when he knew you were there.
That vid would only have been about 20 sec. long, tops, if I filmed it.BOOM

Reason for not shooting

I shot a bear last spring similar in color and size. Plus my buddy was really looking forward to doing some fishing and shooting the bear would have ruined that. A few years back while hunting with my nefew he shot a real bruiser of a color phase. If the bear had been as nice as this one I would have shot him.

He squared 6' 9". Still hoping to get one like that one day. Didnt measure the skull or wiegh him.
