Not a monster, but tasty non the less. good ol grandpa/grandson hunt trip up Christian valley. Different than mulies..geez they like to run and quick!...Hit on the run...160 gn was a little too much as it knocked him right over...didn't get up again or flinch....learn me to check the clip after looking at moose! but no bad meat!

Also a goofy donkey we found sleeping on the road at 11:30 am...had me going to fill a spike/fork tag but alas too many points...though we did follow that silly bugger up the road at least a mile...he just wouldn't get off the road...even looked back to see what we were doing when the came to some exposed rock....you could actually see him shrug his shoulders and mutter..."your actually going to make me walk across these things!" as he tip toed ever so gently over them before taking off again....he got going pretty good...25KM/H on the ol hunting buggy.

Also .....some one was goofing off at work me thinks! Bit bigger than a sprint!

the duck was up rendell creek area. and I broke out the 50 cal for him but grandpa figured it would be better to wait for him to grow up a bit....then we'll have to call in some air support!

Great little meat buck. That will be a tasty whitey. That duck is up about 10km on the Grano FSR. Great road for whitey's.

Bang on elkoholic...anyone know why they are just pushing trees over and replanting up there....6"-8" logs on the ground EVERYWHERE and lots of new trees.....it was crazy how much wood was left. The second gowth pecker pole pines where rediculously close.

I was told that a lot of the trees that are down are from the snow last winter

these were cut..they were in blocks and you could see where the feller buncher was and were the skidders went

ya it was quite quack-tastic....SOOO much country up there we spent a lot of time up every road we could find. Grano, Rendell and Center mt all had more deer than the entire LML! Also thought I would mention that the rendell creek cabins are up and running again...the guy came to our camp to drum up some buisness....the main entrance is closed (bridge is out) so you have to go in the back way by the little power plant....I have the number somewhere...there were three cabins open and it sounds like he will have 5-6 later this year or for next season..some of them need a bunch or work.
