Heading out to 8-14 tomorrow with a whitetail doe tag. I have my mule deer tag too.
I'm not asking for anyone's 'spot'. Just wondering if anyone has been out lately and has a good idea of what elevation the majority of the whitetail deer are holding at right now.

Thanks for any help.

i was just over in 8-12 on friday hunting around beverdell. Seen quite a few does on the river bottom. But i know of them to be up on the Solomon mountain as well. I dont think you will have a problem harvesting your deer. Specially if you head up towards westbridge and the christian valley.

Sounds like they are at most elevations then?
It should be nice being able to hunt during the week instead of the weekend. Hopefully it won't be too busy.

Just got back on the 17 th and yes the WT are down low for the most part but you will also find pockets on top were it flattens out.

Are you guys seeing just the does down low, or are the bucks down low as well?
