San Jose del Cabo, most of our charters are out of Cabo San Lucas or East Cape(Los Barrieles). This storm looks ugly, but it's too late to change our dates so we'll have to hope they're still biting after it moves thru! Gunner

Gunner,

I have fished these waters before. It is great fishing north of Puento Pascadaro, about halfway betwenn Cabo and La Paz. Go to Gigglin Marlins pub it is awsome and only about a 1.5 hour boat ride from Los Barilis.
The best Dorado fishing is right beside the Gigglin Marlins. Just to the east about a KM around the big rock cliffs.

Back from san Jose del Cabo,it was a good trip with a fair number of fish!We lost our first day's charter due to the hurricane and ended up fishing 3 days.Total score for the 2 of us was 3 marlin(2 striped,1 blue),16 yellow fin tuna from 15 to 100 lbs., and about a dozen dorado including some good ones in the 45lb. range.Overall fishing was fair, the marlin were late, but you can negotiate charter costs because tourism is down. Will post pictures when I get them all organized from both cameras! Now for some late season mulie hunting! Cheers,Gunner
