His base on the right side looks massive. Great looking buck!

Solid buck.
You can tell he's young from his short stout face, I'd guess him at 3 years.
Huge potential, nice split brow, mass etc.
Gonna let him grow ?

I don't think his head is short

I think I have a pic of this buck from last year, looks almost identical except he was a perfect 5x5 then. will try and post a pic in a bit.As to letting him grow, that is the plan as the season is still young.

My first thought was that he has a bit of a baby face still...if he lives..he'll be a real dandy for sure!!! Is he a 5x7?

Can't seem to get the old photo sized right to get it in here. Oh well.
Yes he is a 5x7 with the split brow on his left.Figure he is probably a 4.5 yr old.

I doubt he's 4.5 years, probably 4.65 years. Birth date Feb 27 2005. Has two brothers and one sister and his father went out for a pack of smokes and never returned.

How's the stand construction coming along? Got 'er ready to go? ...only a couple weeks away. Was out today and started prepping my honey hole. That's a "gooder" ya got on the cam....be neat to see what else is floating thru there once the rut kicks in. Much for does coming in?

I would be VERY happy with that buck.

What M.U. is he in ? Don't need GPS co-ordinates, but would help.

Right on, good to see! I just set up 3 spots this weekend and put the trail camera's out. Built a plateform stand about a month ago, similiar to yours, but not as high, and put a Blind up in it yesterday. That works pretty good.

Stand is good to go, got the pop up blind screwed down a couple of weeks ago. Double lounger is in, just need to go and fill the propane tank for the heater. There are quite a few does hanging around, both muley and whitails, so can't wait to see what shows up for the rut.

Propane heater? WTH? 'Spose a couch is next? Having both wt's AND mulies will be interesting...looking forward to seeing you top last years whitey! G
