chute lake

ive been quading around the chute lake rd area in kelowna lately, but havent seen alot of game and am wondering if it is worth it to keep trying the area

Get into the burn. walk around a bit a couple hundred yard from a road makes a big differance

Get off the quad and you will see them

5 out of 6 got deer out of there the week before thanksgiving, lots of walking ,glassing and just looking.It was a solid week of hunting, and so cold -18 in the morning for last last part of the trip.

Pretty warm here now. I have not been up there for a couple of years. I know lots of guys are bringing deer out of there though.

My fiance says that most of the whitetails they have been getting into their butcher shop at Grimms here in Penticton have been coming out of the Chute lake area.

Chute Lake is good if you know where to go, but so is June Springs, McCulloch, and Dale Crk. Just depends what you're lookin for.
