Thanksgiving Moose [Archive]

We finally found a immature bull moose after hunting since thursday. we seen a total of 21 all weekend. I caught him trying to cross the road between two cut blocks. one ran away as i came around the corner on my quad, i stopped to get a look as it ran into the timber. i took 2 steps away from the quad and noticed another one standing behind a tree. i grabbed my rifle and took a look. I seen it had a spike but wasn't sure just yet. He then turned his head a bit, I was sure. BANG! The rest is history.

Good going. I to got a immy on the weekend with my bow. He came in hard to a cow call. I beleive he died a virgin.
