I was up there and saw 4 bucks , 15ish does and a ton of road hunters .
The deer are up in the bush away from the road.

Went in on Sunday for a day trip. A buddy and his son drove from New West and I drove from Peachland. We went into the hills around Willis Cr. Mostly we road hunted, only had about 6 hours then I had to get back to the family for turkey.....I did one half hour hike away from the jeep at lunch. Saw one doe, lots of sign. Buddies son finally got his first grouse....3 years of trying and a couple of misses. The son has bad circulation to his extremities and does not handle the cold to well so he hasn't gone out to often with us cause of that

Came through Willis Cr on Sunday, from Stirling Cr. Not 1 deer. Saw 2 camps, one huge group at the start Willis.

I did 5 days in princeton on the opening day of any buck. Saw one the whole time we were there. The does were really skittish (sp?) and gone in a flash....

Went through the Tulameen burn and some of the alpine last week. Saw 8 bucks, 14 does and 3 bears. Most of the deer we saw were right at last light. Biggest bucks were 3 points. This weeks weather will change everything I'm sure. We didn't see any deer near roads or 4 wheeler trails.

I would imagine there will be some snow on the ground in there now. Find the tracks and you shall find the deer. If it were me I would go into the back and check out some of the older logging where nobody goes. Some of the blocks right underneath the alpine may be good. Take your time and walk where you find sign, if you drive you probably won't see anything.

Are you guys mostly seeing mulies or are there whitetails around Princeton? I can only remember seeing mulies myself.

Snow is gone to 5500, not enough moisture lately to get the ground soft enough for decent tracks, their in the mud puddles though
