Is there any ideas on making a cooler so we can keep are game in camp and not rely on meat cutters up north which there arn't many left so we want to do it ourselves and also the price is getting out of hand, thanks

Since I made mine, Mr.Dean developed a unit that is waterproof. That way he can take a generator on his trailer and chill the meat right in camp.
Mine is for storage at home and will be getting some improvements in the off season, like a fan and a raised lid so I can hang the meat instead of laying on racks.

BTW I got my freezer for free on craigslist. When they pack it in, they can be taken to the bump for free!!!

Thanks for posting those links Steelco. I like the look of that set-up. Doesn't take up much room, pretty flexible, and cheap.

buy a cheap med size freezer and a small generator.
Control your own temp as you see fit. Works great, done it for years
