Just finished my first elk hunt in the EK .Did not connect but that did not matter. My hunting buddy and son and I had the time of our lives. Incredible scenery , incredible hunting terrain and lots of incredible people and made some friends. I hope all you living there realize what you have in your back door.
I had for the first time with the help of my Hoockie MaMa received buggles from bulls . That is a moment I will never forget.

I am with my son and hunting buddy on a mission to learn as much as possible on how to be a good elk caller. Any tips on what you feel that are the best calls on the market . Do you prefer to bugle or cow call and any info that you feel that will help to make a better caller would be very much appreciated. Even which books or DVDS that you feel are best.
