View Full Version : 4 mulie bucks down!!!!

We spent a few days in one of our locations. Snowing very early for this time of year in this location. We dont usually see snow until the rut. Just looking for some bucks and we were fortunate enough to all tag out, 4 of 4. They are definetly not big but we're just looking to fill the freezer for now. Several large bucks were seen but too fast to get a shot off. Highcountry dropped this unique buck which we called a "unihorn". Weird looking antler for sure. No grouse to be found nor did we see any bears either. All of us still with tags needing to be filled but oh well, the deer were enough for us!:lol:

For those who are wondering, this rifle is an sks-d with a modified stock that i made myself. It nice to see those who are un-informed jaws drop.

This is the unihorn, never seen a buck like this before.

I have a buck in my neighbour hood that was hit by a car has had a wonky horn since he was a spiker. He is now a 4 on 2 with the 2 going across his face.

lolz its just a rifle like any other. No point in buying it and not using right?Most sks's hit crappy but this one is a decent shooter. Its just more fun using simple irons, it makes it a little more challenging.....and no, we did not spray any of these deer(but who does this anyways??:roll:) with this rifle, they were all careful one shot kills(i'm not kidding either:biggrin:).

I like the stock on the sks. I wouldn't mind one like that for mine.

Exactly. although for now I'm going to stick with my bolt action.. I would love to hunt coyotes with a ar-15 if it was legal and if i owned one
