Thinking of planing a caribou hunt next year, after seeing some very nice racks in trucks coming through Dawson this year I am interested. Not too sure where to go or when is the best time? I remember seeing them in Sikani Chief are as a kid, but that was long ago. Any help would be great.

Level moutain plateau, north west of dease lake is the best caribou area I've ever seen. Late september you will find herds of them.

Have you been to Level Mountain? I am a caribou guide from Manitoba originally and was thinking about going. I noticed level mountain right away because of the nice walking plateau. Other than that I've seen nice pics of 400 plus inch bulls taken between Dease and Muncho Lake. Did you fly in there?
