The wife and I went to reg3/5 for the first trip of the year for Mule Deer. Let me start by saying it was a freakin gong show with all the hunters in the area. We went up on Wednesday and left on Sunday, even with the economy and Loon Lake Fire situation it was packed. We have a nice tree stand and blind set up there and we can get a view of one of the FSR's. All day we can hear and see road hunters back and forth, i think on Saturday we saw 15 diffent hunting groups!! lol never heard a shot tho:roll:..
Anyways we snagged a nice 2pt from about 50yrds and then on Sunday a nice 3pt from about 150-160yrds. Missed on a huge 4x4 buck on Friday and waited for him to come back but no luck:oops:.I will try and post pics. We also saw two nice black bear, a little under sized but made for nice photos.
