Kamloops to Sun Peaks partrige/grouse ?

Heading to Kamloops Chuckar hunting then to sun peaks next week anyone know of any Grouse/Partrige possibilities with in an hour of the Sun Peaks area.

LOTS of grouse on the backroads around Sun Peaks. If you can get behind to Cahilty, the burns there produce nice grouse too. Have a look at the alpine with binos, might see some nice deer up there but of course, no hunting in that area... :x

You can hunt most of the alpine area around Tod Mtn (Sun Peaks) - as long as you are the required minumum distance from any existing chairlifts. See the little map in the hunting regs. I have bushwacked up the back side from Cahilty a few times.

Thanks for all the help! Just got home, got into a bunch of "Devil Birds" and can't believe the number of "ruffies" I saw :D
