my father inlaw and son and i headed out for a evening hunt in the any buck season. we had seen a few does earlier to get our blood moving. we planned on taking the first buck we saw. my son has a leh doe tag but said he wanted to take a buck.we then spotted a lone doe and were watching it when i spotted a bull moose off to the side of the cut so we turned and dirrected our attention to him and a cow he had with him. we were watching them when out pop three more deer. two little bucks and a doe. i get brody set up tell him to wait till he turns and then take him.deer turns boom deer humps up takes off. i tell my son you got em hes hit hard. the three of us walk up the hill find the blood trail and the kids first buck piled up near by.a couple high fives and congrats we drag the little bugger up the hill and low and behold them damn moose are still standing there watching us. we now got to get a pic so someone believes this whooper of a tale.well here is the proof ha ha enjoy. now if only we had a leh moose tag but thats a whole different story. http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/SDC10847.JPG (http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/showphoto.php?photo=15500&limit=recent)

Last year my son got his first black bear. While he shot it and was in the process of cleaning it , 2 does and a two pointer stood and watched him the whole time. Unfortunately any buck wasn't open at the time.
Well come opening day for any buck, weeks later, who do you think we run into within 500 yards of where they were last seen? Needless to say the two does are now sans their male friend.
