East kootenay 6x6 bull elk down

Shot this 300+ bull in the East Kooteney's last Wednesday. Oddly enough i found another bullet in him while skinning him out , it was just below the back bone. Bull was approx. 490 at the butchers.

There isnt to much of a story
it was about 730 when me and my partner came up to this little field and cow called a couple time and this bull came running down from the mt. shot it at about 280 yards. oddly enough it ran uphill after i hit it

Nice Bull, crazy that there was another bullet in him. From what you could tell had it been there awhile? Was there any scaring on the hide from entry?
Has anyone else ever heard of that before?

The bullet looked pretty fresh their was some bruising on the opposite side of where i found the bullet, there was no scaring but there was a small hole in the hide, i received news from a family member there that another hunter had been pursuing the bull several days before

Pretty sure that other bullet was mine and that elk was dead on its feet before you shot it. However, there is plenty to go round so I am willing to split the meat 50/50 with you as long as you butcher and deliver. 8)
