7-16 elk?

So changing things up and heading out to 7-16 for 5 days, seabach/captain area. Anyone have any info on where i guy could look for elk? i have a few ideas but it's been a few years since i'[ve been that far back, i heard there is elk off the captain and behind boundry lake, any input on these spots or perhaps sending me in a "general" area so i'm not wasting my time, not looking for somebody's spot, just a general idea.

Also looking for a big blackie and if i come across a calf i'll proabaly have to take it as i have no meat in the freeze yet, i'd perfer a 2pt!!!

my dad hunted 7-16 from kerry lake
he has never seen an elk there if that helps.
he would camp at kerry and drive down the highway and turn right.
this was 15 years ago
