Could only post the link to picture?
Anyway, I went up on 19th and spotted 74 sheep, only 3 rams and not one legal. Over the next few days I saw another 30 or so sheep with only one potential shooter, a lone ram 2km away and getting farther at last light. The next afternoon after a trip to town I decided to try the only spot worth a look close to camp. Previous days had showed sign but nothing moving. I crossed the bench near camp and nearly crapped as I saw 7 sheep (1 potential shooter) feeding into a field about 1 km away. I spent the next 40 mins trying to get close enough to ID the ram. When I finnaly ID'd him as legal he wa on the move smack dab in the middle of the ewes( Coward!). Over the next 45 mins I moved closer over countless ridgebacks, when I finally spotted the ram again, I knew his route to the river, I crossed 2 more ridgebacks and croosed into an area with a ewe and lamb stragglers, I was pinned with nowhere to go...screw it I jumped up and ran, (as did the ewe/lamb) crossed the last ridgeback expecting to see the ram full tilt and hell bent for the Fraser, but he was 50 yards away. The second he saw me, you guessed it Hell bent for the Fraser, he crossed the next ridgeback (150 yards) stopped looked back and I dropped him wth one shot 300 Min Mag, 150 grain Core-Lokt.

Great ram. From the looks in the picture it looks closer to full curl then it does to 3/4 curl. What Management Unit were you hunting 3:31 or 3:32??

It is about 1 1/2" short of full curl on the left and 1/2' better than 3/4 on the right, the tag was for 3/4 or better, I got in in 3.32

Considering this was a Sheep hunt, the amount of effort was not over the top. It is a hot dry area to hunt. I saw several hundred muley does but not a single buck.
