thanks guys. The pics are out of order.
the first two hunts we did in alberta.
the first one was with the honkers in the willow blind. This was something different. We were set up in a canola field it was supposed to be a duck hunt but it became a goose hunt.
the second was of the one with the specks and canadas. Of course once we hadn our limit of specks two flocks of about eighty finished about ten yards up and one almost landed on my dad's blind.
then it was off to sask.
the first hunt that we did was the snow hunt we had out about four hundred rags. As the pics show was a nice mixed bag. We had snows, blues, ross, and small canada's.
The second was a little pot hole for ducks it was cold and rainy so I didn't take out my camera. We another mixed bag. Mallards, Gadwall, Shovlers and teal.
the last hunt was with all the mallards. We found a pothole that the birds were puddling in. Must have been three to four thousand mallards five hundred canadas and five thousand snows using the field adjascent to the water.
After the first couple of rounds we had to slow things down. We started taking turns shooting one bird at a time and picking our green heads when possible. We were still done by nine am.
