A group of us are heading for east barriere lake middle of oct. Does anyone know what flies are good for this time?

my friend has a cabin on the east side i don't think they fish but i'll ask him anyways. as for animals they are there. my friend said they seen more blackies this summer than usual.

Never fished East Barrier,but did in Clearwater during oct.
Try black,green(olive),chartreuse(reddish purple)micro leeches,thats ONE of the only food sources left.:biggrin:

Black 'n' Red dazzle leach size 6 to 12

leach -- flat fish -- dragon fly's -- fish shallower than usual -- 15 ft depth maxy
Spin too - minnies, shiny torpedoe slicer, BAM every time --
you can fish with dry line wood b fine -- even sink it a little -- the reeds --
a little gust of wind and Got One On it's a f----kin MONSTER -- East Barry More
