Well folks i finally found the elusive 6x6 bull in the Okanagan. My five year old son and i left our home at 2:30 on friday morn with hopes of bugling or calling in a big bull. Well low and behold after a most exciting morning with elk all around us calling running and chasing .The big nasty bad boy bull showed himself and perished after a well put shot in the lungs with the 300 ultra mag which to this point has never let me down.My son was very excited to experience cows at 7 yards and bugling and cow calling all over the cool morn air .Definitely we will never forget that morning .

oh how i loathe you. Ive looked for elk around Kelowna but have yet to find any. So, i will jump on the band wagon. Congrats on the nice bull and keep on doin what you are doin with your son. more kids need to be out there hunting with their oldman/women.
