Hey all. I am going to be spending ten days hunting 7-7 area for moose and deer and have never hunted it before. Any do's and don'ts will be greatly appreciated. Or where to find a good map of the area. Where to set up camp? Resent cuts? Any info will help! thanks:lol:

WHAT ? mu 7-7 ten days ? moose and deer ?
do's -- go and get a moose and deer
where to set camp ?
recent fresh logging slashes ?
Ah yah - good moose along Bowron river NORTH of Hwy 16
but but but the Willow River friend -
Access from Hwy 16 along Willow river road which leaves hwy 16 approx
37 km east of Prince George
also from Buckhorn, 15 km south of Prince on hwy 97 and or from
Stoner, 30 km south of Prince on the ninety seven
good moose hunting and good access with a bonus of whabbit and grouse.

Hunted up there last year for the last time lots of unsuccessful hunters and very little game. As for camping lots of spots to camp from rec sights to turn off's.

Heading up that way as well in October.
Don't see a ton of deer there - at least by the time we go ....... but for sure moose and the odd elk.

And Grizzly. One of my partners got chewed up there a few years ago, sitting on a stump and calling. Called mama right out of the bush with his father in law on the other side of the cutblock. Had to chopper him out of there.
