First island deer of the year! Sunday morning bro and i headed out to a

spot where we've found sheds and lots of sign last year, we knew there

was a monster up there. Got it at first light at about 200 yrds he was

hanging out in a group of 3 nice bucks. My biggest blacktail yet :)

Nice deer, and what a cute baby! Mine was just as chubby and cute. It seems like yesterday, but he will be three in October.

joe i seen three beauties i just shot the tall guy i decided not to beat my island fork record :eek: but bro just got his huntin tag in the mail hes ready to go get one of the step brothers lol i got some more honey holes

I have yet to pop an island blacktail. Got back into hunting about 8 yrs ago and have taken some on the mainland but never on the island. I have been out 3 times this year and still no success. That is a beauty of a buck.......and my hats off to you my friend...job well done.
