View Full Version : Weekend Goat Trip Pics
Gave er a go this weekend with the boy and the weather was typical to hunting goats, pissin' rain and fogged out. Not the greatest conditions to be climbing peaks that are steeper than the back of God's head. The forcast was for showers just in the morning but it became obvious that the torrential rain was with us all day, so we bailed for the saftey of the truck before things got too dangerous. Spent the rest of the day glassin any fog free goat perch from the warmth of the truck. No goats spotted. Here are some pics of our morning hike.

Hey Dana, is that a Lakelander rifle from Norway (Kongsberg?). I have a 30.06 and 300 WM. Beautiful and accurate rifles. :-D
Tied this big boy up for my Oct LEH. He is already starting to feel the urge and was very vocal. He showed great intrest in my cow calling.

you left the dog at home didn't you?? shake my head.
Yup! LOL! There is a time a place for a dog, goat hunting normally isn't it, but then again, you packed out a goat with your dog. If I had of brought the leopard, she'd probably had a lion treed.

Always good photos! That fog you mentioned has become a more common annoyance, I've noticed, than it once was. Especially in the interior. Love that cap and someone's supper. Ha ha.

it is a mistake to leave a Cur dog on the chain or in a pen. They don't learn nothin but bad habits at home.
