2007 Yamaha 450 Kodiak Quad. 2880 km, 4x4, cammo paint, winch, looks immaculate. $5000.00. The unit was moth balled last year and the owner spent $1000.00 on a tune-up and two new rear tires last week.

Any feedback would be great as I do not know much about these.

I think it is not to bad of a price. I just bought a kodiak 400 2008 and paid $4900 with new tires as well.

Seems like very high miles for a two year old quad, make sure it is not a ex forestry unit, the tree planters will use and abuse them then return to the dealer. The dealer then replaces damaged plastic, racks etc. and resells.

Two tires, plugs and wires, oil change and u joint. That is it I believe. He is selling it because he no longer uses it.

That is a lot of KM's for a 07, if mothballed for a yr it was all in one yr? Is it an oil rig or mining or commercial quad???

I have a 2008 Grizz with 2000 km on it. I put that on in just over a year. some guys like to ride. You could probably get a pretty good price on a new unit, at least you know what you are getting then. Just in case it was a rental/rig quad/mining quad.

Seems rather steep for that. Why did he need 2 new tires? Something seems fishy.
