Will show a bit of the area later. More than 1 ram in the area. Moose was a sucess as well. I need to scan the pics in first as we forgot the cameras and had to buy disposables just before the hunting.

Careful, Fisher-Dude might run the licence plate on the jeep and try to get somebody charged with illegal guiding. Unless Willy has already done so.

Nice ram.

Congratulations, nice mature Ram. Looks like some of the less publicly spoken sheep hunters on here this year are the best ones. Well done guy's

That is beautiful country up there - I wish I could go too! I am curious, when you say nw corner, you mean of BC? If so then why not fly out of Dease Lake?

We don't fly out of dease.....but out of Tatogga.....50 miles south of Dease.
And yes...its beautiful country for hundreds of miles...more pics to come

Beauty ram...Wish I could get out for one...One day, I'll be there.

When you get up in this area the beauty alone is worth the trip. In the fall the higher altitudes are fall colors and the lower, still summer. Aside from a bit of wind, it is spectacular. A successful hunt will certainly add to the trip but the area alone is worth the trip

Amen! I haven't been there for about 4 years now; I think it is some of the most spectacular scenery in BC.

Great ram, congrats. I am heading up there next week, hows the weather up there? does it cool down enough to keep the meat cool at night?

Was about 15c during the day and 5c to 8c during the night. At 5500 ft elevation there was frost some nights so at altitude the meat should cool just fine. I am sure some cooler weather is on its way though as we usually have snow in the upper areas by now.
