Wildlife Living with Municipal Limits

One of the things I have noticed in BC is that increasing numbers of deer are living within town limits of many, many municipalities..

What is the cause of this trend?

greater numbers of deer
safety from predators
people feeding them
tasty flowers and garden crops
habitat destruction

What's happening out there?

My guess would be safety from predators , tasty flowers and gardens and agriculture and changes in habitat

You could add human encroachment on their habitat to the list.
