like the title says....
any sugestions? get out even earlier and hope you see something in the first 1/2hr?
the worst is my leh tag is for below 1100m....
try to intercept them on their way to their beds for the day.....?

Buggle only to reply, not to start. Cow call only to cover movement - put away all hyper lips, etc and best to be still and quiet. Just back from my early hunt and waited 8 days for a weather change, saw some great animals but opted to not risk meat spoilage with such long pack trips out. Best of luck.

Fisher Dude will tell you to just drive the roads. There will be so many guys out there, a cow is bound to walk across the road in front of you. And I don't think he would be entirely wrong.

With a rifle, you can find where they are bedding and stalk in on them. You can still hunt through the bush and bump them.

You aren't hunting elk in the heat. The evenings are cool. If you get one down, you have time.
