back from the ek

It was our first time there for deer and elk went for the last end of the bow season and start of the gun season. Looking for a cow elk for my dad. We came back with no elk but did see a few just never gave us the shot but had some close calls on nice bulls and cows. Was a great trip though came back with 3 whitetail meat bucks and a very nice 3 point mule deer with the bow at 30 yards. I would like to thank daryll for all his help without him it would have been much harder. He is a great guy drives like a mad man though lol. I hope this is just the first of many times that we meet.

i am just sorry that you guys didnt punch an elk tag, thats just the way it happens some times i guess, like you said though at least the elk were there.
that is a great mule deer. i just hope next year will be a little better, i just got back from the heart specialist and he said give it one more year before i start doing my hikes again, so Kevin ,, be ready for next years elk hunt !! i will take you in on a trip that you wont believe your eyes. :)

Daryll i'll take you up on that hike next year and i believe it. I believe this is the start of a yearly trip for me. look forward to learning more from you daryll. How was last night at the blind see anything?
