The Guy We Go Hunting With Every Year Has Informed Me That Were Going To A Area Known As Kennedysiding? Iv Never Heard Of It. But He Said It's Up Near Mackenzie Where They Have 3 Moose Draws. But It's Close To The Peace Region Border So We Can Hunt The Peace As Well.
Any Tips On Moose And Elk Would Be Great Thanks

Check the regs for 7a. There is a no shooting area around Kennedy Siding. There are caribou, and moose, and Grizz, and elk around Mcleod Lake/Crooked River. You are still an hour from good elk hunting though, towards Chetwynd. Good Luck, and remember you are in the Mcleod Lake Indian Band's traditional area. Moosin

you have the same sub region as the wife and i.our is good until the end of sept and we are leaving on fri around noon should be hopefully huntin come saturday mid morningish.goodluck up there.what are ya driving and i'll keep a look out for ya.

thanks for the info. we plan to make a trip or 2 to chetwynd to try are hand up there.
and for the indian band. we have one of the members in are group . there family is setting up are camp for us on there land.
we will be driving a blue extended cab chevy with a white canopy and a red ford f.350 crew cab long box with a 30 foot weekend warrior toyhauler.

The area is an important migration/early winter staging area for a population of shit-kicked mtn caribou. Try and avoid them entirely.
