Wolverine Tags

Hey guys, just a reminder that you don't have to buy a tag for Wolverine if you are a BC resident.
Was at a buddys yesterday and told him that and he looked at me kinda strange because the local sports store just sold him a tag.
Dropped the fee to try and help out the Caribou.

Took it out this year to help out the caribou calves a little

I understood that BC Resident hunters had to have a tag for Wolverine.....but now I am not sure???

They still have seasons and bag limits, so you still have to check your area.
Page 10 of the regs, under licence fees it states No Species licence required for a BC resident

My dad will attest to that. He got one in the Yukon in the late 60's. To keep the story short it was finally killed in the basement of the house with a knife.:eek:

Thanks for the infromation...... but I think Wolves kill more Caribou calves ??????????? but I see resident hunters don't need tags for wolves now either.
