My 13 year old nephew and I went out today for the first time this season. We sat in a small blind for three hours. Then decided to take a walk to the end of the block. We rested on a log for 10 min then as we were walking up a small ridge suddenly two mule deer jump out. One is a buck and the other is a doe. They were moving fast up the ridge so no time for a shot. We ran up the ridge and when we reached the top there they were about a hundreds ahead of us. We decided to take the buck because we had a better shot opportunity. He took his shot and the buck went down. he was one happy camper let me tell you he could not stop smiling lol. I do believe he has the hunting fever yea...
