weekend in 3-13 [Archive]

Spent the weekend in 3-13. Bagged 11 grouse, 1 hare, 8 trout. Saw no deer just as well cause it was bloody hot. Heard a few rifle shots in the area. Hope to get out again soon.

Lots of chickens out there this year, the deer will come, it's still early, at least that's what I tell myself!!! Good score.

Sounds like a great weekend, I spent the weekend in 3-28 got a couple nice gouse myself. Your right you would have to work fast if you shot a deer in this heat.

What part of 3-13 were you in? I had things to do in the LML this weekend and couldn't get up. The wife and her friend went up and she said that she saw a lot of grouse on the Lytton - Lillooet road.

Thanks, I think I know the country a little bit, I go in at a gravel pit a little north of Lytton. It seems that if we are heading to the cabin it often is just about when we hit the turn off it's time to get in the bush.

Nice country in there, we have taken a few grouse and deer later in the season used to be good but we haven't gotten any in there for a couple of years.
