im heading up to do a little fishing and hunting,anyone know anything about the place,good fishing?thanks

It's beautiful country up there; my last trip, however was probably +10 years ago. The lake has Kokanee, Rainbows and Lakers. There were lots of bears around, both grizzlies and black.

Great lake to fish.

Lots of med size lakers, although they might be closed when you come up. Rainbows are good at the west end of the lake, and any of the creek mouths.

For lakers and red/white spoon or white or silver apex in 3"+ will work. For Rainbows the apex trout killer in red/white or silver or a basic willow and worm will work.

If you have any old herring or anchovies lying around, set a line for ling. Pretty good eating fish.

Do you have a draw for moose?? Some good moose off the lake as it has min access and very few boat launches. Some OK deer between Pinchie and Tezz Lk.

Hunted there for about 20 yrs off and on. Last time was three years ago. Good forest service camp site at south east end of lake. Good moose all around the lake.

Great rainbow fishing in the rivers. They are going up for the whitefish spawn.
