Man, how cool is this software?
Buddy and I drew a shared moose in 5-04(A) west of Chilko Lk.
Neither of us have been in this country before so we're a little anxious about where to camp and what part of the M.U. represents promising moose habitat.
No worries!
"Ground Control to Major Tom..."
I climb aboard my space-ship, strap myself into my chair in front of my laptop and blast-off for the south Cariboo country...
Moments later I'm dropping from the clouds and zooming in on Chilko Lk and surrounding areas.
Way cool!
I've pretty much got a camp-spot picked out and I've never even been there.
Only thing is: It appears Hanceville is the last fuel depot going in and if my calculations are correct it could be close to 100/km to the Eishem/Tuzcha Lakes area. Not certain how much range I'll get out of the old Mo-Ho (or what the roads are like) and/or how much x-tra fuel we'll need to pack in. We run 4-stroke dirt-bikes as well but they don't use much.
Any of you guys' do this run before?
