short notice river fishing!

tomorrow morning a friend and I are going to go try out river fishing, were in rutland in kelowna, so somewhere somewhat close. where should we go?!?!?!?

anyone have any ideas? or tips for river fishing?

Try Okanagan lake by the log booms on westside rd or near creek mouths. Ive caught some decent trout by deep creek in Peachland. Good luck.

were thinking of heading up to powers creek, just outside westbank. what do you think? backroads book makes it sound alright

Try Hein Road you should be able to catch anything you want there.

I live beside Powers Creek and there is squat in there. Why not try Mission Creek up past Gallaghers?

well we weren't able to find any good spot to fish in powers creek. so we ended up driving around for 6 hrs, found some sweet spots, such as jackpine lk, cameron lk, and finally pennask lk, which is very nice, but maybe too big for my liking. we also ended up at paynter lk, which was completely dry and the river run off valve was shut...

anyways, we found some awesome spots to fish, and looks like a few good hunting locations too.
