Pitman River

One of these years I have the strong desire to run up the Stikine and into the Pitman River (maybe even the Chukichida).

Anybody have any experience on these waterways? Hours run time up to the far end of Pitman, etc...

i've ran it years ago, we camped near the mouth Chuk and were re-supplied by boat.

Friends of mine run it every year in late september, but they shuttle a lot of fuel and go with several boats.
